Police are investigating an incident the practice this morning where a patient became aggressive and assaulted members of staff. No one required hospital treatment, but this was a distressing incident and we are supporting those affected. There may be some disruption to services this afternoon and patients needing urgent care should contact NHS 111. All services are expected to resume, as normal, on Monday. Violence against NHS staff is completely unacceptable and will not be tolerated. Thank you for your patience and understanding

You may have seen on the news Mounjaro is now available via GP surgeries, but it’s only for patients who meet strict NHS criteria. Mid Essex GP Practices are not currently commissioned to prescribe Mounjaro and we are awaiting further guidance from our local NHS ICB.
