Speaking to GPs - A women seeking an abortion may first go to her GP. This may be for guidance or a referral, but importantly, it may be for more than just practical advice. For many, a trusted medical professional can be the empathetic ear that helps them come to the right decision for them.
You can refer patients directly into an available service or refer them to another doctor if you have any objections to the abortion.
Sexual Health Clinics - Those working in family planning/GUM can refer patients directly into an available abortion service.
