EXTENDED GP SURGERY HOURS
You can now get an appointment with a GP, nurse or other healthcare professional in the evening and on Saturday and Sunday.
To make an appointment, you can call your own GP Surgery during normal business hours or NHS 111 out of hours.
People who live in mid Essex now have access to extra evening and weekend NHS GP-led appointments at one of six Extended Access Hubs.
Our Extended Access Hubs are staffed by experienced GPs, Nurses and other healthcare professionals who offer most of the routine services you might expect at your own GP surgery, such as stop-smoking support and smear tests.
How do I book an appointment?
You can book by contacting your own GP surgery’s reception team and asking for an Extended Access appointment. Outside your Surgery’s opening hours you can book by calling NHS111.
If you need to cancel your appointment speak to your own surgery or call 07384 579479 out of hours.
What are the opening times?
Monday to Fridays: 6.30pm to 8pm
(Maldon 9pm)
Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays: 8am to 2pm
